The bundling of these three services to one provider is a cost savings idea. Most of us are already doing exactly this. Here's the thing that really burns me up. I have been a loyal customer to my provider for years. I watch those rates just go up and up, and shell out more and more, only to get less and less. It frustrates me.
Now here comes a newbie who needs their services. Oh yes Mr. Newbie with our plan you get the most channels, the most HD, and the best technical support in the industry. Not only that but we have an INTRODUCTORY OFFER we can apply that will give you more channels, phone service, and internet connection at a fraction of the cost. Great mister multi media man I'll take it.
So here I am "Loyal Customer" watching "Newbie" get a great deal in order for "Multi Media Man" to aquire his new customer. They are willing to take a loss up front in order to produce another loyal customer.
Then you start thinking, if the would give him a discount for his new business, what would they give to lose mine. Here's what to do. Call up their competitor, "Multi Dish Man", and explain how unhappy you are, and ask them for their best deal. Wow Multi Dish Man that really saves me quite abit. Let me think about it.
Now you call Multi Media Man and explain the situation and tell him you would like to cancel their service.
This will not make him happy. He is going to do whatever he can to keep my business. Bottom line is, he gave me a better deal than the newbie. It was for a limited time only, but when the time ran out I just did it again. I was able to cut 1/3 of my monthly bill, and received 2 premium channels for free.
After all, money they get, is better than no money at all. Try it
