Here are some things to keep in mind while choosing your next ensambles.
- Buy out of season. Check out end of season sales such as, shorts and bikinis in January, or coats and sweaters in July.
- Wear it more than once. If you wear something for a few hours hang it back up to wear aging. Don't throw it in a ball on your floor to get washed, it will only wear the more.
- Shop at outlet stores. This you will have to be careful on because often these stores will sell a lesser quality garment in order to sell their trademake, so be aware.
- Stay away from trendy stuff. You'll probably only wear it once.
- Buy only what you pland to spend. I know ladies, this can be difficult at times. Stick to it...
- Get your mother, grandmother, aunt, or anyone else to teach you the basics of sewing. If your not wearing a blouse you love because a button is missing, fix it.
- Check other departments for certain items. Alot of time you can find merchandise cheaper in boy, or men departments. Advertisers simply think women will spend more for the same.
- Buy with Cash. No money no honey.
- Get online deals. Get coupons for stores you plant to shop, or buy online directly. Most have free shipping and you won't have to waste the gas to get there.
- Just cause its on sale doesn't make it a deal. Alot of time they will makup items, give you a coupon to make you think your getting a bargain. Well your not.
- Think and buy in colors to mix and match. Buy outfits which can be worn with a variety of combinations.
- Shop at Consignment shops, you will be surprised at the brand names they carry at a fraction of the cost.
- Look for those Big Red Clearance Sale signs. Especially for men. Got their team logo, has to do with fishing, or hunting. You are Golden..Men hate to shop, surprise them.
- Swap clothes with a freind. This will only pretain to the ladies out their. With guys. Hey Butch can I borrow your shirt, click..dialtone...Where as you ladies don't have a problem with that.
- Take an Inventory on what you do have. It may surprise you.
- For babies cut the feet off there onesy's to get extra ware.
- Cut jeans into shorts. Not only does it save but they are also hot
- Try to wash as instructed by manufacturer to get better life from your garment.
- Apply for a credit card for where you shop frequently to reap additional discounted benefits.
